About

Central Drug Store has been a locally owned independent pharmacy since its opening in 1926. Vastine Stickley and A.B. Jones opened the store at Craigmiles Hall in downtown Cleveland. The store moved to the 1805 Keith St location in 1971 and was bought by Steve Medley in 1973.

Steve’s son Keith Medley graduated in 1996 and began working with his father. In 2006, the Peerless Crossing location opened, and Tommy Medley came to work with his brother and nephew. The 1805 Keith Street location was moved to its new location of 100 Keith Street in 2018. Central Drug has been part of Cleveland for almost 100 years.

As a family-operated store, we strive to treat our customers as family. The family-like atmosphere for our customers is just one of the reasons we are now taking care of the grandchildren of our first customers. Having generations of the same family coming to us makes us proud and thankful for their support.
